Who we are

This website is run by Northgate Marketing, a paid media agency based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, email [email protected] or call 07387 151054.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact or free audit form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, company, website, the service or ad account you're asking about, your monthly ad spend band, and your message.

If you email or call us directly, we keep a record of that correspondence.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, carry out an audit you've asked for, and discuss working together. Our lawful basis is your request to us (taking steps before entering a contract) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We don't sell your information or add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and our business:

• Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to our inbox.
• Microsoft 365, which hosts our email.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and secures this website.
• Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the work and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. We sort them into two groups.

Essential. These are needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice, which we store in your browser as ng_consent. They don't need your consent.

Analytics and advertising. If you click Accept, we may use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our own advertising. These set cookies and share information with Google or Meta. We only load them after you accept, and if you click Reject they stay switched off.
